In my role as editorial producer at NowThis, I edited up to a dozen scripts a day from producers on our News, Culture, and Daily teams; provided feedback in real time and on longer-term projects, including field shoots and op-eds; and learned an entirely new editorial format that demands concisely using text to explain a story and complement visuals. During this time, I helped run our TIME’S UP partnership, produced and hosted video, and eventually learned to edit video myself on Adobe Premiere. Learning to work more across mediums — including visuals and audio — expanded my understanding of how stories could be told. Below are examples of pieces I pitched, produced, edited, and/or script edited.

I’ve appeared on camera in a few NowThis op-eds and explainers. Below are examples of scripts I’ve written and produced (as you can see, my facial expression remained pretty consistent in pieces made a whole year apart!).
